Where do we lie?

It is interesting to see how often and where Singapore appears on this infographic by Online Schools (click on image for full version).

When I posed the question "Where do we lie?", I meant two things. Where we are positioned and where the untruths are.

Let us not kid ourselves: Statistics and visuals obscure details and inconvenient truths!

Is Singapore really doing right?

    It’s interesting that “placing strong emphasis on standardized tests” is deemed a positive factor. At a time when the IP program is getting increasingly popular in Singapore because it removes a national standardized test from the lives of students.

      A tough question. I think effective professional development is the key. It’s more than attending workshops and conferences. It’s about shifting mindset and skill set. Connection and collaboration are no longer options.
