Education Soon

Till 2016, we can be reconnected again.

What would you do if you noticed some of your graduating students spending too much time on Facebook and neglecting their final year examinations? These students shouldn’t be on Facebook too as they are below 13 years old.

How would you feel when a 9 year old boy sent the above Facebook message to people in his network announcing he will be deactivating his account because it’s illegal for him to be on Facebook? He is sad to lost all the connections till 2016.

Grading with the Facebook ‘Like’ rubber stamp

Posted in humour, products, school by tucksoon on August 9, 2010

Everyone seemed to love the ‘Like’ feature in Facebook. It is almost like a motivator to post quality stuff and get recognition from friends.

I guess it is quite a novelty that the guys from Nation came up with the ‘Like’ rubber stamp. I bought one from their online store. Price is steep though. I received it last week and I started stamping with a red ink pad.

I guess I should use a blue ink pad instead as blue is the standard Facebook colour :D

I will be using the stamp when I grade my students’ work. I resisted the temptation to get the ‘Dislike’ stamp as I don’t wish to replace the dreaded ‘Parent Signature’ stamp yet :)
